Happy Halloween!
We all enjoyed Quinn's first Halloween. He looked so cute in his fireman costume. It was in the mid-80's today so we didn't keep him in his costume very long. We went trick-or-treating to some of our neighbors then came back home to pass out candy.

Yes, several times in fact... Quinn didn't like to touch the pumpkin guts but he didn't seem to mind crawling through them! The mess could have been worse, he's into throwing everything these days but since he didn't want to even touch the guts, they weren't thrown all over. He had fun with the top of the pumpkin though, he threw it around a bit and pounded on it like a drum.
Lucia had fun too. She helped *clean up* the mess (apparently raw pumpkin is pretty tasty, well to a dog anyway). She even convinced Quinn to try a pumpkin seed (don't worry, it was quickly retrieved). Every time we let her out to go potty, she'd chew off a little more of the pumpkin's face.
All in all we had fun. What's the saying, Messes can be cleaned up but memories live on forever? We're certainly not afraid of a little mess! Although I'm certain that one of Quinn's first words is going to me 'no' - whether it's addressed at him or Lucia, we sure say it a lot these days!

So, I'm comfused. What costume was the 'real' one? It's like he's Crystal on Dynasty - and has to keep changing outfits. Or was the 'real' one the firefighter jacket sans the pants...?
