Happy Father's Day!

We had a fun fathers day. We caught a Durham Bulls baseball game with some friends. Before the game, we went Dick's where Quinn got a real baseball glove with a ball. He wore it the whole game hoping to catch a ball. We sat along the first base line, towards the outfield in the 1st/2nd row. The pitchers walked by the boys on their way to warm up and would give them five or pat them on the head. We were hoping the outfielders would toss a ball our way but we didn't see too much action in the outfield. Quinn really enjoyed the game but it was super hot (100 degrees at 5pm) so we didn't stay for the full game. We left during the 7th inning and walked over to one of our favorite restaurants, Mellow Mushroom.

After dinner we headed home and gave Daddy his gifts. Quinn picked out a nice silver cross for him. Coincidentaly, Quinn had gotten a fake silver necklace out of a gumball machine (he was hoping for one of the little people they had in there). He insisted on wearing it for the rest of the day... it was so funny to see him with a silver chain around his neck. After Jason opened his, he was so excited that everyone had a necklace. He wanted to see his cross that his Nona had got for him, so in some of the pictures he's got two on :-)

All in all it was a fun day. And Quinn is totally into Baseball now :-)
