How can he see me?

As you know, there's extra ammunition this time of year to get kids to behave... simply using the popular phrase "Santa's watching...".

Well, the first time we tried that out on Quinn (I can't remember what he was doing) he matter of factly replied back "He's not here. How can he see me?". He sure keeps us on our toes!

Last year, I told Isaac, the 5 yo sitting behind me (who would not stop kicking my seat or yelling for his parents who were seated 4 rows behind Isaac because they don't acknowledge whining)that I worked for Santa. I also told him that every night I tell Santa about all the good boys / girls and the bad boys / girls that I saw during the day. Based upon our conversation later that day, I told Isaac that I didn't think he would get any presents this year.

Isaac didnt say another word for the entire flight. And 2 guys offered to buy me drinks.

I don't think I have ever heard a child respond with that--leave it to Quinn. He is so sharp!

That's funny Katie! We are currently using Theo Billy as the example of the kid who was bad and only got coal for Christmas. It's working out rather nicely. He never questioned that Billy would be the one to end up in such a situation either :-)
